Lebanon man charged with DUI in a Polaris RZR

41-year-old Ernesto Perez was charged with driving under the influence when police observed him driving a Polaris RZR down Burford Road with no seatbelt on and not maintaining his lane of travel.

On May 16th, Deputy Miller saw a Polaris RZR being driven by a man without a seat belt on Burford Road then again on Belotes Ferry Road. The deputy described the vehicle having difficulty maintaining its lane of travel.

A traffic stop was conducted by the deputy and found to be driving was defendant, Ernesto Perez, who the deputy described having the odor of alcohol on his breath. According to the report, the deputy conducted a field sobriety test and Perez performed poorly.

Ernesto Perez was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was later released on his own recognizance.
