54-year-old Darrell Conatser was charged with possession of heroin after a passenger in the same vehicle pointed to him and told officers “he has dope”.
On April 28th, MJPD Officer Bancroft witnessed a vehicle in a parking lot with more than one passenger inside tearing up the vehicle. When the officer approached the vehicle to investigate, he made contact with everyone inside.
One of the subjects pointed in the backseat at Darrell Conatser and told officers that he had dope. Conatser was the only subject in the backseat. Officers found a cigarette pack with four and a half grams of what he believed to be heroin.
Darrell Conatser was arrested and charged with possession of heroin. He was later released on his own recognizance.
