Disruptive man curses at location staff; found with a half-empty bottle of vodka

55-year-old Joel Martin was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after he was reported to police for cursing and arguing with store employees and was found in the parking lot with a half-empty bottle of vodka in his front pocket.

On June 10th, Deputy Brandenburg was flagged down and was told there was an impaired man at a local business cursing and arguing with the management. The citizen also stated that the management was trying to get him to leave. Deputy Brandenburg arrived at the business and found the defendant, Joel Martin, walking across the parking lot still cursing and drawing attention to himself.

The report described Martin as being disruptive to the business and its activities as well as smelling of alcohol and unsteady on his feet. There was a half-empty bottle of vodka in his hip pocket, the report also said. He was placed into custody out of fear that he was a danger to himself or to others.

Joel Martin was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication. He was later released on his own recognizance.
