Incident involving stolen plates concludes in cooler full of paraphernalia

36-year-old Jacob Wilson was charged with stolen license plates, driving on a revoked license, and possession of drug paraphernalia after attaching a license plate belonging to another vehicle. Police later recovered a cooler containing two scales, cut straws, a pill grinder, two pipes, and small empty containers inside.

On June 19th, Officer Fialkowski identified a license plate attached to a Nissan Maxima actually belonging to a Honda CR-V. Fialkowski made contact with the driver, who was identified as Jacob Wilson, in the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Further investigation revealed Wilson to be driving on a revoked license for a DUI occurring in Rutherford County. A search of Wilson’s vehicle uncovered a small cooler containing a glass and marijuana pipe, two digital scales, several small containers, a pill grinder, and multiple cut straws with residue evident.

Jacob Wilson was arrested and charged with driving on a revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and stolen license plates. His bond was set at $2,500.
