Lebanon woman charged after roommate tells officers she launched chair, cut him with machete

69-year-old Judy Fields was charged with domestic assault and driving on a revoked license when a man she lives with told authorities that she broke down his bedroom door, launched a chair at him, and cut his finger with a machete.

On June 11th, Wilson County Sheriff’s Officer Johnson was dispatched to 3356 Cairo Bend Road in regard to a domestic dispute. According to affidavits, the officer spoke to Brent Maxwell who lives with Judy Fields. Maxwell explained that while talking about Fields’ van, the two got into an argument so Maxwell retreated to his room, securing the door.

Maxwell told authorities that Fields broke down the door, lobbed a chair at him, and proceeded to cut his finger with a machete. Judy Fields fled the scene in the aforementioned van and officers located her near Cole Ferry Pike, her license is currently revoked.

Judy Fields was arrested and charged with domestic assault and driving on a revoked license. Her bond was set at $1,500.
