51-year-old Stefanie Dyer was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after yelling at the employees of an Under Armor and then flipped off the officer that arrived to escort her out.
On June 26th, Under Armor store on 13 Athletes Way in Mt. Juliet called for a criminal trespass which MJPD Officer Martin responded to. When Officer martin arrived she made contact with the defendant, Stefanie Dyer who was flipping her off with both of her middle fingers and screaming at employees. Dyer was working and received a phone call then began causing a scene inside the store and that is when she was asked not to come back.
She reentered the building after being told to leave and was escorted out. Her persistence to try and continue to enter the store caused the citizens to be unable to continue their lawful activities so she was placed into custody. While being placed into custody by Officer Martin, Dyer began pulling away to not get handcuffed. Officer Martin had to place her against the wall and drag her to the cop car to transport her to booking.
Stefanie Dyer was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was later released on her own recognizance.
