44-year-old Julio Monroy-Ortiz was charged with two counts of domestic assault after striking both of his children. The two kids suffered injuries from the attack, law enforcement observing bloodstains on the shirts on their shirts.
On June 26th, Officer Kennedy received a report of domestic assault at 108 Trinity Dr in Lebanon. Upon arrival, Kennedy made contact with Julio Monroy-Zenil. According to Monroy-Zenil and an additional witness, Julio Monroy-Ortiz had been drinking and became involved in a verbal altercation. According to the affidavit, the dispute became physical when Monroy-Ortiz began to strike his two children.
Both children were injured from the father’s assault, officers observing blood stains on their shirts.
Julio Monroy-Ortiz was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault. His bond was set at $2,000.
