49-year-old Ryan Shaw was charged with a DUI when he was found passed out behind the wheel in the drive-thru of Taco Bell and ran his vehicle over the curb after waking up.
On July 12th, Officer Martin found the defendant, Ryan Shaw, passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle in the drive-thru of Taco Bell. When the officer attempted to wake Shaw, he took his foot off the brake and drove off the curb.
Reportedly, the officer described Shaw to have red watery eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol about him. Shaw admitted to drinking before he drove and in plain view, the officer could see an open beer can and an unopened bottle of cinnamon whiskey. When Officer Martin offered for Shaw to perform a standard field sobriety test, he refused.
Ryan Shaw was arrested and charged with DUI. His bond was set at $2,500.
