Nashville man backs into another vehicle while leaving Cahoots Bar

26-year-old Timothy Holmes was charged with driving under the influence after hitting another vehicle while backing out of a parking space at Cahoots Bar.

On September 6th, Lebanon Police Officer Ragland was on a routine patrol near Cahoots Bar located at 427 South College Street when he observed a white Ford truck back out of a parking space and strike another vehicle. The officer interviewed Timothy Holmes who was reported to have slurred speech, red watery eyes, and unsteady on his feet.

Officer Ragland gave field sobriety tests during which Holmes showed signs of impairment. Additional tasks were given and he again exhibited clues of impairment. A search warrant was granted for a blood test.

Timothy Holmes was arrested and charged with a first offense DUI. His bond was set at $1,000.
