53-year-old Christi Russell was charged with theft of property after she stole her ex-boyfriend’s trailer stating “she believed she had consent to use the trailer.”

On October 11th, Lebanon Police Officer Foutch arrived at 12257 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, after receiving a call about a theft. Russell loaded her belongings onto her ex-boyfriend’s trailer and used her vehicle to tow it back to her home at 4860 Quail Run Drive Old Hickory. The trailer was found by police at her residence. She stated “she believed she had consent to use the trailer”, but this was later disproved by an earlier dated text message. The text was shown to Officer Foutch by Crutcher and it stated that she did not have permission to use the trailer.

Christi Russell was arrested and charged with theft of property. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
