Mt. Juliet woman charged with possession of heroin and meth after suspected overdose

25-year-old Alexis Ledsinger was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication after she was found having a suspected overdose and a search revealed meth, heroin, and an array of drug paraphernalia.

On November 8th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Angle reported a possible drug overdose at a local motel. Officer Angle stated that contact was made with Alexis Ledsinger when he entered the hotel room. Ledsinger appeared to be twitching, sweating profusely, unsteady on her feet, and talking to herself. The officer’s report stated that he spotted used syringes and a bowl with residue upon entering the room.

Officer Angle searched Ledsinger’s person which revealed a bag that was believed to be methamphetamine, and a second bag containing what was believed to be heroin. A backpack was found containing digital scales, spoons, and syringes. After being medically cleared from Vanderbilt Wilson, Ledsinger was taken into custody. Alexis Ledsinger was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, public intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released on a $3,000 bond.
