Watertown woman caught on camera stealing from Uncle Pete’s Truck Stop

47-year old- Shirley Bogle was charged with theft of merchandise after she was witnessed by a patron and security camera shoplifting $212 worth of items from Uncle Pete’s Truck Stop.

On August 14th, Lebanon Police Officer Cody Bryan spoke to Pete Norman of Uncle Pete’s Truck Stop located at 1210 Sparta Pike in reference to a shoplifter. Norman stated to Officer Bryan that a female entered the store, shoved several items into a bag, and left the store. An employee identified Shirley Bogle as the person who stole the items.

Officer Bryan reviewed a store video, identified, and confirmed Shirley Bogle to be the same woman that the store employee had identified. Shirley Bogle was charged with theft of merchandise after stealing $212.85 worth of items.

On October 28th, Shirley Bogle was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise. She was later released on a $4,000 bond.
