31-year-old Heather McClain was charged with domestic assault after shoving her girlfriend’s head into a door.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic call on South Maple Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with roommate girlfriends Heather McClain and Jocelyn Jefferson. Heather and Jocelyn were arguing over a breakup. Jocelyn went to leave but as she did, Heather grabbed her and shoved her head into a door. Jocelyn had a large knot on the left side of her head and redness around her neck. Heather was determined to be the primary aggressor. She was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.


[…] Officers investigated to find out that Mcclain wrote “I have herpes” and drew a broken heart on the hood of Jefferson’s vehicle in chalk paint. Later the officer was dispatched to 420 South Maple for a theft. Mcclain took Jefferson’s keys and threw them into the woods. She admitted that she did both draw on the vehicle and throw the keys. The two of them have had a history, Mcclain assaulting Jefferson in January and violating a conditional release in March. […]
