Woman writes “I have Herpes” on girlfriend’s car and tosses keys in woods

31-year-old Heather Mcclain was charged with theft of property, vandalism, and violation of probation when she threw her girlfriends keys into the woods and vandalized her car. This is the third time Mcclain has been arrested for a domestic dispute with the victim, Jocelyn Jefferson.

On April 28th, police arrived at 803 South Cumberland in response to a domestic dispute. They met up with the Heather Mcclain who said the victim, Jocelyn Jefferson, won’t let her back into the house. Mcclain and Jefferson are in a relationship and they live together in the residence.

Officers investigated to find out that Mcclain wrote “I have herpes” and drew a broken heart on the hood of Jefferson’s vehicle in chalk paint. Later the officer was dispatched to 420 South Maple for a theft. Mcclain took Jefferson’s keys and threw them into the woods. She admitted that she did both draw on the vehicle and throw the keys. The two of them have had a history, Mcclain assaulting Jefferson in January and violating a conditional release in March.

Heather Mcclain was arrested and charged with theft of property, vandalism, and violation of probation. Her bond was set at $2,000.
