Aaron continued by saying he witnessed Matthew grab Stephanie and slam her head into a parked car, then got on top of her and started punching her several times in the face and head. Aaron said he then tacked Matthew to get him off Stephanie and after struggling with him, Matthew was able to break free and fled the scene. Stephanie then ran into a nearby business and left shortly after.

According to the affidavits, officers determined during the investigation and based on the witness account that Matthew was the primary aggressor in the incident. Officers also discovered a history between the two involving a domestic assault charge against Matthew in November 2019 with conditions of no contact with Stephanie.

On March 16th, Matthew Noble was arrested and charged with domestic assault and violation of conditional release. On March 26th, his sentence was served and he was released.
