Violation of Lebanon man’s probation results in multiple drug charges

24-year-old Bailey Underwood was charged with possession of heroin for resale, possession of marijuana, possession of suboxone for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during a felony, and two counts of violation of probation

On May 5th, an officer was dispatched to Days Inn at 822 S. Cumberland to serve a warrant for violation of probation to Bailey Underwood. After Underwood confirmed the active warrant, the officer conducted a search of Underwood’s person finding one pill of suboxone and paper containing heroin. The officer was then given permission from Bailey’s father, David Underwood, to search their hotel room.

Inside, the officer seized a plastic baggie of marijuana, a baggie of heroin, and five and a half pills of suboxone on his television stand. Underwood gave police the code to the safe inside the hotel where they found digital scales. On the nightstand next to Underwood’s bed, there was a loaded and chambered ARMI Tanfoglio Giuseppe .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

Bailey Underwood was arrested and charged with possession of heroin for resale, possession of marijuana, possession of suboxone for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during a felony, and two counts of violation of probation. His bond was set at $72,000.
