Women busted with weed, 4 types of pills, and meth after caught stealing at Sally Beauty

36-year-old Theresa Moss was charged with possession of meth for resale, possession of marijuana, Xanax, and hydrocodone with intent, theft of merchandise, and drug paraphernalia and 35-year-old Stacey Moravec was charged with two counts of possession and theft of merchandise after they were caught in Sally Beauty stealing merchandise.

On June 27th, Lebanon Police Officer Johns was called to the Sally Beauty at 621 South Cumberland in regard to suspicious persons. According to affidavits, employee Michelle Buster was alerted when Theresa Moss and Stacey Moravec entered and exited the store multiple times without making purchases. When officers arrived Buster was asking Moss to remove merchandise from her handbag.

While this was happening the officers observed a grinder and suspected marijuana fall from her bag, prompting a search. In Moss’s purse officers discovered 8.5 grams suspected cannabis, two baggies suspected methamphetamine, 150 bar-shaped alprazolam, 23 hydrocodone pills, and rolling papers. Theresa Moss had $65.06 worth of items stowed that she had not paid for.

Michelle Buster identified Stacey Moravec in a vehicle in the parking lot. Upon approach, the authorities immediately recognized the scent of weed. A search of Moravec’s satchel and the vehicle yielded $136.14 worth of the store’s property, five Adderall pills, and seven gabapentin pills. After being transported to the Wilson County Jail another two bags of meth were found on Theresa Moss bringing the total weight of the four bags of meth to 4.6 grams.

Theresa Moss was arrested and charged with possession of meth for resale, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana, Xanax, and hydrocodone with intent, theft of merchandise, and drug paraphernalia. She is jailed in lieu of a $57,500 bond.

Stacey Moravec was charged with two counts of simple possession and theft of merchandise. Her bond was set at $5,000.
