feat Brannam David

26-year-old David Brannam was charged with theft of merchandise and burglary when he stole $112 of unpaid items from Walmart by not scanning some and concealing others in his clothes.

On October 23rd, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Brown responded to Walmart located at 300 Pleasant Grove Road and spoke to Loss Prevention Officer Yuki Loomis. Loomis told Officer Brown that David Brannam had knowingly stolen items from a display. Reportedly he placed some items in the shopping cart and hid some of the items on his person.

The videotape from Loomis showed Brannam go through a self check out and pay for some of the items that he had in the cart. However, it depicted him not paying for all of them nor the items on his person. Brannam exited the store with the unpaid items that totaled $112.74. Loomis told Officer Brown that Brannam had been warned previously that he was no longer allowed in Walmart due to thefts. Walmart Corporation had Brannam sign the restriction notifications on August 30, 2020, in Lebanon and at the Mt. Juliet Walmart on May 24, 2020.

David Brannam was arrested and charged with burglary and theft of merchandise. He was later released on a $4,500 bond.
