40-year-old Tammy Price was charged with her fifth DUI and possession of heroin after she was found passed out in an Arby’s parking lot with her car still running.

On November 2nd, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Clark responded to Arby’s located at 245 N. Mt. Juliet Road for a person passed out in a silver Honda sedan. Police found Tammy Price passed out in the driver’s seat with a straw wrapped in a dollar bill and a plastic bag in her lap that held a pink powdery substance that appeared to be heroin. Officer Clark observed Price having pinpoint pupils and slowed speech as she exited the vehicle and she then consented to field sobriety test.

According to the affidavit, Price was unable to keep her eyes open or follow the pen. Price then stated she could not perform the task when she was unable to get into a position to perform the Walk and Turn test. Officer Clark reported that Price used her arms for balance, swaying, and put her foot down during the One Leg Stand Task. The police report stated the keys were in the ignition of the car and the engine was still running. Officer Price requested, and was granted, a search warrant for a sample of her blood.

Tammy Price was arrested and charged with DUI fifth offense, possession of heroin, and violation of probation. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $12,500 bond.
